Skin Renew is a calming and soothing moisturizing cream that promotes healthy skin aging. It is designed for sensitive skin to look and feel younger.  It glides on the skin beautifully and absorbs quickly. Skin feels protected but with no greasy residue. I’ve made some serious departures from traditional skincare and created this with amazing botanicals that calm, soothe, hydrate, protect, and fight the signs of aging in 4 key ways.

KEY INGREDIENTS

• Olive Squalane Oil is a light, stable version of olive oil squalene. It is found naturally in human sebum, which lubricates and protects the skin. It glides on the skin and absorbs quickly. It’s a hydrator, offers antioxidant protection, calms and reduces redness and irritation, and is non-comedogenic. It acts as a carrier to get active ingredients deeper into the skin. It is suitable for mature, dry, and sensitive skin.

• Cupuacu Butter Virgin is obtained from the fruit seed of the cupuacu tree found in the Brazillian Amazonia. The seeds have a high capacity to absorb water, making them an excellent emollient. It protects and prevents drying of the skin and signs of aging. It helps restore skin flexibility, moisture retention, and elasticity. Few other butters come close to matching the benefits of cupuacu and its versatility.

• Rose (hydrosol and essential oils) have a long history of being used to enhance skin's beauty. It boosts skin health but also lowers depression levels. It is known for its mood-enhancing properties. It reduces the signs of aging and helps repair skin issues such as rosacea, irritation, and eczema. It has antioxidant, antibacterial, and astringent properties.

• Lavender (hydrosol and essential oils), a beautiful Bulgarian oil, is known for its strong anti-irritating and calming properties, which soothe the skin and reduce redness. Its aromatic properties promote relaxation and reduce stress and anxiety, benefiting both skin and mental wellness. Blended with rose, lavender promotes skin healing, hydration, and rejuvenation and is ideal for sensitive, dry, or mature skin. Lavender is rich in antioxidants and helps the skin fight free radicals and minimize the appearance of lines and wrinkles. 

• Allantoin is an extract of the comfrey plant historically used for its healing, astringent, and emollient properties. Allantoin is the superhero extract from the comfrey root known for healing, calming, and soothing. It has been used for environmental irritations, including windburn. It helps heal irritated or damaged skin.

• Arrowroot powder is known for its ability to soothe irritation, reduce redness, being kind to sensitive skin, and acting as a natural thickener. It can relieve itching caused by eczema or psoriasis. It brings a soft, velvety texture to the product and is full of antioxidants. It works synergistically with allantoin, and each benefits from the other. 

• Tripeptide 29 is made from peptides found in seaweed. Why peptides? Because collagen is built from amino acids. And this tripeptide employs the same three-chain amino acids as human collagen. So, it's a collagen-building booster, and collagen is the “mattress” of your skin. Building more makes the skin look younger.

• Rosehip Oil CO2 is sourced from Bulgaria/Germany. This organic rosehip is extracted using Certified Organic SuperCritical CO2 extraction. The result is a highly concentrated extract using the whole rosehip berry. It brings remarkable anti-aging and moisturizing properties. Because it’s so concentrated, it doesn’t require much to do the job, allowing the formulation to be highly effective and affordable. It likes to pair with Sea Buckthorn Berry CO2. 

• Sea Buckthorn Oil CO2 is extracted using a gentle, low-temperature process.  This protects the berry and the seed’s active components.  It contains vitamins A, C, E, and omega-7 fatty acids. This makes it a potent antioxidant and skin-regenerating ingredient. It’s beneficial for aging skin due to its strong anti-aging properties.  A, C, and E are the trio touted by leading dermatologists to combat free radical damage, protect the skin from environmental stress, and promote healthy cell turnover.  

• Raspberry Seed Oil CO2 compliments Rosehip and Seabuckthorn CO2 with its exceptionally high Vitamin E, pro-vitamin A content, and essential fatty acids. It’s a very nourishing oil that supports the skin’s moisture barrier and elasticity to improve the appearance of skin exposed to the environment. It’s a light, dry, and non-occlusive oil that quickly moisturizes and nourishes the skin with no greasy or sticky feel. It’s an excellent free radical scavenger, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory.

HOW TO USE:

Apply your favorite serum or Skin Love Hydrating Serum to your clean skin. Apply Renew and gently massage or lightly tap it into your face, neck, and décolleté morning and night.  

If using the Skin Love Hydrating Serum, it only takes a couple of drops.  If you are in a cold, arid area, you may want to add 2-3 drops of one of our Skin Oils on top of your moisturizer.
